For example, according to the VSME standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs) – a voluntary reporting standard for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that want to present their sustainability performance transparently without having to meet the full scope of CSRD or ESRS reporting requirements.

Climate3-LCA is based on many years of experience in the industry.
The following aspects were particularly important in the development of the system:
Close or, even better, direct integration into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
Specific customer requirements are processed in Climate3 during customisation (parts list structure, material number groups, production processes, etc.).
Employee travel, waste, and many social and governance aspects also become ‘stored’ and payable ‘materials’.
Accounting and finance process this consumption data ‘on the side’ and without additional effort.
No data redundancy thanks to a clear and open database as the basis for all calculations.
Advances in digitalisation and knowledge of the company's own ERP are also used for sustainability.
The scientifically processed data and factors comply with auditing requirements (source, time and location reference, technical status and update date).
